New Defense Tech Companies
Rivet Industries: Building XR goggles for defense and industrial customers, came out of stealth last week after raising a $12.6 Seed round in September.
Odin Dynamics: Building long range autonomous underwater strike platforms
Last Weeks Funding Rounds
X-Bow Systems, developing and manufacturing solid rocket motors and launch vehicles for both military and space applications, completed the close of its $105m Series B. The round include Lockheed Martin, Razor's Edge Ventures, Balerion Space Ventures, BVVC, Upsher Management Company, Capital Factory, Arkenstone Capital, and Event Horizon.
TurbineOne (an AI platform for edge sensors) has raised a $36m Series B, valuing the company at $300m. The round was led by The General Partnership with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, XYZ Venture Capital, StepStone Group, PROOF , and Artisanal Ventures
Usul (YC S24), building an AI platform to win defense contracts, raised a $3.3m seed round led by Scout Ventures with participation from BVVC, Teamworthy Ventures, True Ventures & Y Combinator. Steve Blank, Peter Newell, Jacqueline Tame and Jack Shanahan also participated
Adyton (building mobile first personnel and equipment management software for the DoD) announced an $11m funding round led by Venrock with participation from Khosla Ventures, Initialized Capital, Kindred Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, Leblon Capital, and Alumni Ventures.
